Looking Back

Posted on June 15, 2021December 6, 2021 by L1OTB

In March 2020, just days before the pandemic lock-down, I found my way to the iconic Elvis’ Honeymoon Hideaway in Palm Springs. This Mid-Century Modern beauty is tucked away at the top of a small cul-de-sac in the city’s quiet Movie Colony neighborhood. On that day, I felt so lucky to grab a few photos. Little did I know that the soaring roof lines captured here would later just remind me of how suddenly all of our wings were clipped. Today, we are finally cleared to fly again!

The Honeymoon Hideaway house is located at 1350 Ladera Circle. It sold in December, 2020, and is no longer available for tours. The day I stopped by it was already closed to the public.
